The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted near to 76% of the cars sold in October 2022. It had 9 models from Maruti, 4 from Hyundai, Mahindra & Tata each, 3 from Kia, and 1 from Honda. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed over 48 percent to the Top 25!
Maruti Alto retained the throne as India’s No.1 Selling Car in India for October 2022. It was ahead of the sibling Wagon R by quite a margin and stood at the top. Nexon continues to be the best-selling SUV and was also the fifth highest-selling car of Oct’22. Maruti Grand Vitara has made an entry into the Top 25 at the 16th spot and recorded dispatches of over 8k units in the second month of its launch itself! However, the Korean twins (Creta & Seltos) maintained a much higher lead with sales of 11.8k and 9.7k units respectively.
