In Aug’21, only 6 out of the Top 10 cars came from Maruti’s stable. Maruti’s Baleno dethroned the siblings Wagon-R, Swift and Alto to jump to the Top Slot in model-wise rank for August 2021. Brezza ranked third in the list with dispatches of 12,906 units and emerged as the best-selling SUV for Aug’21!

Hyundai had 5 models faring in the Top 25 cars. Creta ranked fourth in the table and became the best-selling Mid SUV for August 2021! Creta was closely followed by Venue with dispatches of 8,377 units and the model grew 1 percent over August 2020.

Hyundai continues its dominance in the SUV segment – Had Creta as the segment leader among Mid SUVs in August 2021 and crossed 12.5k units. Also, Venue and Alcazar sales supported accordingly.

Tata Nexon did stellar volumes and ranked 7th on the list. Nexon recorded dispatches of over 10k units for the second consecutive month and emerged as the second best-selling Compact SUV of August 2021. Nexon was able to successfully overtake the likes of Venue and Sonet! Even the EV variant is contributing significantly to overall model volumes!

Kia managed to sneak in to the Top 10 after a very long time and Seltos fared 9th in the list. Even Sonet was closed and ranked 12th in the Top 25.
