Maruti had 8 models in the Top 10 list and Hyundai had 2 models.
Some major reshuffling happened in the Top 10 – Grand i10 was bought back from the list (yeah, Nios has a major contribution in that) and Hyundai’s i20 & Creta made their way out. Maruti’s Brezza managed to fare in the Top 10 and stood last.
Alto slipped from its 4th rank in July’19 and ranked 5th in Aug’19. Dzire was the No.1 Selling car of Aug’19 and sold just over 13k units. Previously the top ranked car used to sell an average of >18k units atleast.
Eeco continuously makes its entry in the Top 10. It is trying to cover the shortfall of Omni; but that’s a big gap to cover.
