Tata Motors has achieved a significant manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 10 lakh (1 millionth) commercial vehicle from its Lucknow facility. The achievement marks over 35 years of industrial excellence in Uttar Pradesh and reinforces the company’s leadership in India’s commercial vehicle (CV) space.
Landmark Milestone with a Green Twist
The milestone vehicle rolled out from the Lucknow plant is a zero-emission electric bus, symbolising Tata Motors’ commitment to sustainable mobility. This aligns with both the company’s net-zero target of 2045 and the Government of India’s broader push toward greener transportation solutions.
The rollout ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Yogi Adityanath and N. Chandrasekaran, along with senior leadership from Tata Motors and state officials.
