Renault India posted a remarkable performance in April 2026, recording total domestic sales of 5,413 units, representing a massive 108% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 2,602 units sold in April 2025. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis as well, Renault registered a healthy 7% increase over 5,046 units dispatched in March 2026.
The standout factor behind Renault’s strong comeback was clearly the return of the legendary Renault Duster, which immediately emerged as the brand’s best-selling model and significantly reshaped Renault’s market presence in India.

Renault Duster recorded 2,359 units in its first full sales month and contributed nearly 44% of Renault’s total monthly volumes.

Renault Triber remained Renault’s second-highest-selling vehicle with 1,917 units sold in April 2026. The MPV registered a healthy 37% YoY growth.

Renault Kiger recorded sales of 727 units in April 2026. While the SUV managed a 20% YoY increase, volumes declined sharply by 39% MoM compared to March 2026.
