Riding high on the global sales performance chart in recent years, KTM went on an acquisition spree in a bid to incorporate its position as Europe’s largest motorcycle brand.
The arrival of GasGas Enduro motorcycles to India
GasGas is exquisitely designed primarily in medium displacement and pure electric off-road motorcycles but with success to KTM’s well-established rod legal-platforms. It is probably working on 3 street motorcycles most likely to adopt enduro and/or adventure tourer body styles.
Two of them are most likely to be based on KTM’s 790 Duke Platform, while the entry-level model is expected to be based on India-made Duke’s platform.
GasGas motorcycle- 250
GasGas having 250cc hardcore already has a track-focused off-roader in its international portfolio in the form of EC250F retailing it 9,700 euros.
As of now, the endure segment in India is highly underserved. The Hero Impulse 200 is the most one can get to a compact displacement enduro motorcycle in India.
With a new WP suspension setup, high ground clearance, off-road tires, spoke wheels and lightweight body, the motorcycle is expected to have an entirely different approach and character as compared to its previous platform-mates.
