A notification has been issued by the MoRTH ( Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) allowing 18 RTO services online, using Aadhar Card authentication.
This will mean that the public need not go to the RTOs for these 18 services listed below
This will eliminate the need for the applicants’ visit a local RTO. As mentioned earlier, authentication needs to be done online, using Aadhaar Card credentials.
This facility is being initiated to provide convenient and hassle-free services to the citizens. It will also enable the system to be free from the quagmire of agents and other unauthorized middlemen that proliferate in the RTOs campuses’ vicinity.
The Ministry is making required arrangements for publicizing this news thru media, individual notices, and other sources to make the citizens aware of this facility.
