Maruti Suzuki dispatched 1,44,761 units to its dealers in February 2021. It was an 8% growth over February 2020 and 4% growth over January 2021!

  • Swift became the best-selling car for February 2021 overtaking the mighty Alto. Swift was both Maruti and India’s No.1 selling car.

  • Baleno volumes were encouraging and the model grew a stellar 21% YoY. It also rose to become the second best-selling car of Feb’21.

  • Wagon-R volumes remained steady and the model was the third best-seller in Maruti’s portfolio.

  • Dzire’s rise in volumes is surprising. The model which was struggling without a diesel option grew 63% YoY – However; the MoM volumes fell -21%.

  • 11,891 units of Eeco sold in Feb’21! Maruti seems to have successfully recover Omni volumes from Eeco.

  • Ertiga sees a dip in volumes YoY.

  • Ignis was Nexa’s second best-selling model in Feb’21! XL6 crossed 3k volumes in Feb’21 as well. Do note that Ciaz is now the lowest faring Maruti/Nexa model!
