Honda City sales were up by a mammoth 119% YoY in Oct’20 and the model sold over 4.1k units last month!

The New Honda City again took the crown as India’s No.1 Executive Sedan for October 2020 with sales of 4,124 units. Hyundai’s Verna managed to come 2nd with dispatches of 2,166 units.

The 5th Generation Honda City has been accepted well and the model is leaving no room for competition to rise to the top spot. The model recorded its all time highest volume in the past 21 months in Oct’20 and now commands over 44% Market Share in the segment.

Hyundai too launched the Verna facelift early this year and was able to sustain volumes. However; it recorded a flat growth in Oct’20 and ranked second in the list.

Maruti’s Ciaz now remains the most outdated model in the list and is now struggling to compete with the likes of New City/Verna. It registered one of the highest dip in sales YoY and took the third spot in the segment.
