This translated into a healthy 24.9% year-on-year growth, highlighting the sustained demand for family-oriented SUVs and MPVs in the Indian market.
The segment was led by the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, while Mahindra continued to dominate the SUV side with strong performances from the Scorpio, XUV700/XUV7XO, Bolero and 9S.
