Tata Nexon emerged as the third best-selling Compact SUV for March 2021 outselling the likes of Sonet & Ecosport. Nexon achieved this feat and also recorded its all-time highest monthly sales figure in March’21.

Maruti Brezza was the best-selling Compact SUV of Mar’21 and outsold the likes of Venue, Nexon & Sonet to capture the top slot! Brezza dispatches were 11,274 units and the model grew 104% YoY.

Hyundai’s Venue was a close second with sales of 10,722 units and the model ranked second in the table.

Tata Nexon has grown a remarkable 228% YoY & 10% MoM. Do note that Nexon was also Tata’s best seller for Mar’21.

Kia’s Sonet slipped to the fourth rank with dispatches of ~8.5k units. However; it grew 6% in Mar’21 v/s Feb’21.

Ford Ecosport could jump into the Top 5 by displacing Kiger and registered WS of 5,487 units in Mar’21. Its sales grew 150% YoY and 73% MoM.

Renault Kiger overtook models like Urban Cruiser & sibling Magnite in Mar’21. Kiger ranked seventh in the table and the dispatches improved 19% in Mar’21 v/s Feb’21.

Rebadged Brezza – Toyota’s Urban Cruiser recorded dispatches of 3,162 units and registered its all-time highest monthly sale in Mar’21.

Magnite dispatches were 2,987 units in March 2021. The production now seems to have averaged at 3k units and is reflecting in the WS data.
