While Compact Hatchback segment was the largest segment in terms of volumes; Mid-SUV was the segment which registered the highest YoY growth. It shows that how the Mid SUV volumes have grown even in tough times!

Compact SUV was the third largest segment and contributed to over 12% of the passenger car sales in India for July 2020.

Premium Hatchback segment ranked 4th and grew flat at 1% YoY.

Do note that Entry Hatchback segment grew significantly at 40% YoY. It signifies increased influx of first time car buyers and growing sales of the models in the segment.

MUV segment too has grown considerably and now contributes to over 10% of the overall sales.
