Renault sold 8,209 cars in the Indian market in January 2021. It registered a growth of 5% when compared to Jan’20 and dipped -16% when compared to Dec’20.

Renault’s Triber was the star performer of 2019 and was also one of the most successful launches of 2019. However; post-Covid the numbers for the model has decelerated and it projected a -1% decline YoY in Jan’21 and sales fell -18% v/s Dec’20. Anyhow it is still the No.1 Seller for Renault India.

Duster is now struggling to add volumes to Renault India and degrew a hefty -17% YoY and -32% MoM. Renault has now shifted its entire focus on the launch of the Sub-4m SUV Kiger. A lot will be riding on Kiger to drive Renault India’s volumes in 2021.
