There are two sides to the coin. One would have to accept that Mahindra is the undisputed leader in diesel fuel type car sales. On the other hand, we have to see that they are practically only two models present in the Petrol fuel type in their portfolio, so a high diesel dependency is expected.
Nevertheless, we cannot take away the fact that Mahindra has established leadership in the Diesel fuel type sales.

With 13,445 volumes, Mahindra stands at 87% of Diesel fuel type sales.

The petrol fuel type sales stood at a mere 13%.
With the future refresh and other models also focussing on diesel. It would be interesting to see if Mahindra would surprise us with an equally powerful and efficient petrol engine.
It’s sad to see that the once an Early Adaptor & Pioneer of Electric cars, has zero volumes in the month of February 2021.
