The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 75% of the cars sold in July 2023. It had 10 models from Maruti, 4 from Hyundai, Mahindra, and Tata each, 2 from Kia & 1 from Toyota. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed over 50 percent to the Top 25!
Maruti Suzuki Swift emerged as the best-selling car of July 2023 with dispatches of 17,896 units. Maruti’s Baleno ranked second on the list. Do note that Fronx has now featured on the Top 10 list and the overall Baleno platform (Baleno+Glanza+Fronx) sold a massive 34,847 units!
Maruti Suzuki Brezza was the best-selling SUV for July 2023 and was also the third best-selling car of last month. Maruti’s Brezza has outsold the likes of Nexon, Venue & Sonet by a huge margin. Kia’ Seltos in its refreshed avatar has outsold Grand Vitara and shall look forward to widening the gap in the coming months. Hyundai’s Exter recorded dispatches of 7k units in its first month itself!
