The Top 25 Selling Cars constituted over 75% of the cars sold in June 2023. It had 10 models from Maruti, 4 from Hyundai, Mahindra, and Tata each, 2 from Kia & 1 from Toyota. In terms of volumes, Maruti Suzuki models contributed over 46 percent to the Top 25!
Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R emerged as the best-selling car of June 2023 with dispatches of 17,481 units. Maruti’s Swift ranked second on the list. Do note that Fronx has maintained itself on the Top 25 list and the overall Baleno platform (Baleno+Glanza+Fronx) sold a massive 25,535 units!
Hyundai Creta was the best-selling SUV for June 2023 and was also the third best-selling car of last month. We observe that Brezza volumes have come down and may be Fronx impact. The sub-compact SUV is going to see tougher competition with the Exter launch.
