Tata Motors Punch emerged as the best-selling car for June 2024. Tata dispatched 18,238 units of the Punch in June and dethroned May’s best-seller Maruti Suzuki’s Swift by a considerable margin. Do note that the New Maruti Swift volumes have dipped in the second month itself and highlight the consumers’ withering interest levels in hatchbacks.
Hyundai Creta retained India’s best-selling Mid SUV tag for June 2024 and recorded dispatches of over 16k units! It was also India’s third best-selling car of June 2024. CY2024 has been a good year for MUVs and Ertiga has gained good traction this year. Ertiga was the fourth highest-selling car of June’24. Taxi demand is steadily increasing and both Ertiga & Dzire volumes is a testimony of the same. Mahindra Scorpio has been consistently faring in the Top 10 list and is also the best-selling Mahindra model.
