Kia India has concluded the 2025-26 fiscal year with a historic performance, registering its highest-ever March sales in 2026. With total dispatches reaching 29,112 units, the company achieved a robust 14.5% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth and a steady 5% Month-on-Month (MoM) increase. This record-breaking month also contributed to Kia’s strongest quarterly performance to date, with 84,316 units sold in Q1 2026 (Jan-Mar), marking an 11.6% rise over the same period last year.

  • Sonet emerged as the brand’s top seller for the month with 12,012 units. This reflects a 56% YoY increase and a 23% MoM jump, fueled by the introduction of more affordable automatic transmission variants.

  • Seltos remains the primary growth engine. Following its recent update and a stellar 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating (the highest for any ICE vehicle in India to date), the Seltos has consistently clocked over 10,000 units monthly, reaching 11,041 units this March—a massive 69% YoY surge.

  • Carens + Clavis remains a steady contributor with 5,933 units, showing an 8% YoY growth. Although it saw a 13% dip from February, it remains a vital player in the family vehicle segment.

  • The Carnival and Syros saw significant declines as the brand likely clears inventory for newer generations or high-end variants. Notably, the EV6 and EV9 recorded zero dispatches this month, suggesting a temporary stock transition or a shift in focus toward the upcoming mass-market EV offerings.
